I'm going to close this because I see no way this thread is going to be a success. Too many egos are being bruised. Don't quite know why really but whatever, that's the Internet for you.
I think many of the points raised are good ones though. I'm not one to say what goes and what dosn't go, (even though it's kind of my job here,) and lately I've kind of just given up on monitoring the spam and the insults and junk that goes on because hell, you guys will do what you want at the end of the day and basically I'm tied of dealing with the bitching apon bitching that happens every time I take a action in closing yet another "real world facts" thread or one of the many "hey, three threads have been posted on the same kind of thing, lets post another hur hur!" threads that spout up every month or so. I figure that this is after all only an internet gaming forum.
Still, the fact remains that I was once proud of my involvement here and a lot of the crap that Sh1fty talks about kind of ruins that for me. I dunno, think what you want. As long as this place remains enjoyable to everyone then that's all that really matters I guess.
