beautiful! i taught Laotins English when i lived in California, they are a special people . . .
Here are some photos I took while on the Salar de Uyuni.
Hadoken!
Sunrise over the Salar
Two of my mates looking out into the great void
Woohoo! Cacti!
The awesome photo
The last one was taken in the morning before the sun had risen. We were driving over a pat of the Salar that had a very thin layer of water covering it making it into a gimassive mirror. Suffice to say the effect was absolutely amazing. This was the only photo taken of it that wasn't blurred.

Just a few photos from last night's sesh. Apologies for quality, paint raped them with jpeg when I resized them for facebook.
another shitty phone pic:
Very nice pictures, inspiring. I guess that's Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia? (To avoid confusion, there's few others places with exactly same name)Ty wrote:

Took another pointless picture
Felt odd to draw something even remotely serious after such a long time...
Sure is straight horizon in here
Here, straightened it up and put a little border on it.

eggcelent!
Rather awesome sunset outside. Will try and upload the pics, even though they're a little obstructed by the roofs of the houses.
Hey Ty, would you happen to have a larger resolution of your last photo? I'd love to make it my background.
Yep, got it in 4000x2248. Had it as my background for a while but switched it for this picture I took of the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. Both are good though, can't decide which one I like more, (as a desktop background - Salar de Uyuni shot wins for awesomeness, I have thousands of pictures of the Iguazu Falls and they're all kind of like this.)Laika wrote:

Kind of dark - short exposure. It was either that or have the intense glare of the sun reflecting off the white water.
I've sent the Salar de Uyuni photo to you, (the email address you have in your bf2s.com profile.)
EDIT: Okay, e-mail didn't work. You got another e-mail address I can send to? PM it to me some time.
Thanks for straghting it up Finray, will have to do that with my one some time. Pretty good for a photo taken from a moving vehicle though right? God knows how it didn't blur.
I've got to make a thread for my holiday snaps I think. Got some pretty awesome ones.

First three are great, Eifa. You seem to be getting better quickly
That was from a moving vehicle? Damn. I thought it was tripod work, looks really dark. What was the exposure? And can I get the full-size? ([email protected])
Dunno how it worked, I didn't mess with the settings at all. Every other photo I've got of this is either blurred or too dark, (when I messed with the exposure times.) I just couldn't get it right - then I got this one. It was about 5:30-6 in the morning and the sun hadn't risen so it was really that dark. The colours came up exactly as they were though, couldn't have been better. I'm pissed off I didn't, you know, just ask our driver to stop. FUCK I'm kicking myself for that.Finray wrote:

Edit: Remembered why it turned out okay - I was using my mate's camera. He had a widescreen funstion on his camera, mine didn't so I nicked it. Was pissed off that all my camera's ones turned out shit and that one turned out well but he gave it to me so all's well that ends well.
Sent by the way. To lots of people.
