Some new releases don't even touch quad cores, and are only fully stressing dual cores. On top of that, the hexa-core CPUs are multi-threaded, and there's even less support for that.

the review's data is all over the place. one of my points is that random graphs are pretty useless without context and the other of my points is that you can have 6 cores for $900 less than intel's option and if you have an am3 socket, it just drops in to the system. no need to upgrade mb to lga1366 or ram to ddr3 for an intel upgrade.

AMD needs to significantly improve performance of a single core. As it is, they take a hard hit on single thread apps vs. i7.

Hey guys!

My speakers are nearing their end, so I need new ones.

I definitely need desktop speakers (w/ sub, 2.1) cause I'll be moving these around and there's not much room in the dorm.

My budget is about $120-$130 max. I have no idea how to look for speakers, and newegg doesn't have that great of a selection i think, so I NEED HELP!!!

Everything looks polished and smooth, looks really stupid and cartoony.  Grain adds to realism and usually makes it look much, much better

Clearly you have no idea what youre talking about.  Its one of the biggest criticisms of Batman Begins Blu-ray for one... and why the HD-DVD of Band of Brothers is superior to the Blu-ray.

Look at the detail it adds in his face, it looks much, much better.  DNR kills the quality of lots of content.  Smoother doesnt always mean better.
