Garand kills not counting

All I've got left for bronze stars are the Garand and Thompson so I spent a half hour with the Garand, pop out to see how many more kills I need and it says I have zero kills. FML. Is there any way to force it to count them?

put a little piece of tape over the monitor where it shows the kills, and just keep writing in new numbers to reflect how many you have

Umm... I need it to count so I can get a bronze star. I could care less how many kills I have with the weapon.

Word I hear is that Garand kills are counted under the Thompson, so I guess it wasn't a total waste for you.

You could try sending cake to JoeGrant at DICE???

Haven't you been reading all the other threads? Stats for this weapon have been broken since day 1.

It's the last bronze star for me too
