Fail troll is fail
You need to apply for a license specific to the firearm you want here. Kinda like how you would apply for a surpressor. It stops complete mongs, career criminals and paranoid cretins from getting hold of a weapon easily. I'm just saying that's our system, I don't particularly want to debate it as I'm tired.
Jord is from England.
England, perhaps britain too. Idk about scotland/wales...
Well, England, EU, point still made. The Sheriff wrote:

Here in my state, you fill out a background check everytime you purchase a gun, it takes 2 minutes to get results you walk out with your weapon.
Even easier if you own a carry permit, which I of course do.
I assume the gun laws will be the same in NI, Scotland, England and Wales.
Think my granddad still has a couple of shotguns in his loft somewhere.

You don't know how long I waited to be able to post this to someone saying what lowing just said.

The only european country I know a little about firearms laws is switzerland from talking to max and they seem even more lax than the us. You can make your own weapons from scrap metal as well as having your service assault rifle and pistol after serving in the military...lowing wrote:

Each european country is entirely differant, I'm sure we went through this a month ago or so.
Well, here's the thing about Columbine. Nearly all of those guns were obtained illegally, and the few that were legal were not actually owned by Klebold and Harris, but by their parents. The Sheriff wrote:

Columbine was an example of how easy it is to get illegal guns in America, and how many legal owners aren't responsible about keeping guns out of the hands of their kids.
Guns don't kill people rappers do.
I have a microtech. The blade doesn't fold and is double edged. Can I carry that?jord wrote:

I'm not even going to dignify the op with a decent response.

As i understand it you can basically only get shotguns or rifles. you need a difference license for both afaik, you have to have a reason to own one (although that's very lax - if you have land you can say its for that for example) and you need a safe bolted to a supporting wall in your property. the police are allowed to do unscheduled checks on the condition and security of your weapons, and can seize them if they're not happy.lowing wrote:

also i think if you're moving rifles around you have to remove the bolts.
edit; thats in England and N.Ireland at least.

I'm not sure I only know the 3 inch folding blade rule. Though I've carried a similar knife to that when camping...
no you cannot carry anything of that description
you'd be caught in the state-of-affairs and would be arrested

Unless you had a gun and then you could blast away dem police officer fools and be home in time for dinner.
hmm... it really isn't that big a deal (to me). I don't understand the hype sometimes. Thanks though.Uzique wrote:

No because he couldn't have easily gotten rid of the mugger if he had a knife or his fists. The gun was essential to successful vanquishing of the attacker. The Sheriff wrote:

vanquishing? what is this, a tale from a dickensian spitalfields scene?

im sorry you spend your time trying to troll a forum in the most horrifically unsuccessful way.
trolling is something to do when you're bored and have nothing fucking better to do... attempting and actually failing to troll is like...
multilayered fail upon fail.
