hmmp.
I could care less about his skin color.

I looked at the election of a black man as a major step forward in our countries evolution.

Those lamenting the deaths of the children in OCB should also spare a moment for the children killed in Waco.

I could of sworn there was a thread like this that ended up with ATG calling Timothy McVeigh a hero and GS calling ATG a nut. Maybe I'm the nut.

You're repeating myself.

See my sig. You know war is hell.

Why was this footage, shot by the FBI disallowed as evidence in court?

As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice.

So did I.

A broken clock is right twice a day. Even a evil ruthless dictator will occasionally say something profound. That's how they gain power, mixing axioms with lies.

Homie 11 had no real point. By bringing up hitler, he seeks to say that anyone who may consider the crime in question as having some point must be of a like mind as hitler.

That is immature, ignorant and derailing.

If you two twins really take the position that " my country right or wrong " justifys what happened in Waco I really must not participate in a conversation with you about it. I don't debate unreasonable or uninformed people.

Not all killing is immoral.

If it were, surely soldiers could not live with themselves who kill in battle.

I did not recreate this thread as a soapbox to say again mcveigh was a hero. If there was an ulterior motive is was to mock public officials who now ponder embracing the same type of concerned citizens who don't just talk shit on the internet, but who might well put some teeth and bullets behind a potential revolt, as ill-conceived and tragic and inevitable as any such madness may be.

Wouldn't it be better if law enforcement types didn't go around breaking laws, covering evidence up of homicide and getting let off?

When that happens, there will be no room for " monsters " like McVeigh. Until the law is not above the law, see my TJ quote below.

Oklahoma is not the "deep south". Not by a long shot.

So, the reason some of Oklahomas politicians are getting in bed with Timothy McVeigh types is because they are rednecks, and not because of concerns over the power grab going on the by the current occupants of the white house?

Like there could never be any legitimate reason why there should be a need for a militia group?

America would be a much better place if politicians had a little more fear and respect for those they suppose to govern.

I am perfectly fine with Nancy Pelosi being afraid. Barney Frank? I am okay with death from AIDS not being his biggest concern.
Perhaps things would actually improve if the bulshit lies and lip service we are getting now was replaced by politicos concerned about having a life.

Hey, I'm not saying that dissatisfaction with Obama is unjustified.  I'm just saying Oklahoma has a lot of rednecks.  The same goes for my state and a lot of others.

Not all rednecks are militia members, but most militia members would fit the redneck description.  Again, I'm not saying that invalidates their concerns.

Stereotype. Complete, false, stereotype.
