I still prefer a corsair tbh, the only advantage I see with the spitfire is having a spare engine, which if you're good wouldn't be a problem in the first place. Oh and it takes up too much space.
yeah, that's not a spitfire. Good game.

Being as objective as possible, I doubt it.

Our pilots get more flying time and training time than yours do, on average => better pilots.

Plus...we get a lot more combat time...

Ok.. you're fuckin high. Might have something to do with how low they fly over my house. But I get a variety of planes flying back to Macdill low and none are NEARLY as loud. I can hear them coming from a long-long ways. Long enough for me to casually find my camera, stroll outside and snap a picture before they get over head.

It's a very high pitched whine accompanied by a roar. .. in case anyone has never heard one.

Yeah but it was kinda equal to the Mig15, the pilots made the difference. One thing though was the Sabre was better at diving and lower altitude dogfights while the Mig had a better climb and performed better at higher altitudes than the Sabre.

Your airforce's training program had a lot of help from our airforce, otherwise you would of had an even shittier training program. And don't give me that your army/marines/navy have better training than we do bullshit. Just because you're a Brit doesn't mean you're special, I know I ain't special

Close enough to be a brit. And I'm talking about your modern day airforce, we helped ya a bit in the '90-91 gulf war as far as airforce training goes just to keep ya up to date. Overall we all try to help eachother out as we're allies

ofc, BFF's and all that. also no, i'm not 'close enough to be a brit' but that's another discussion. if you want to know about how the RAFs been doing in modern day (lets ignore BoB) go read up on what the typhoons did during ODS.

I would agree that your ground troops probably get more training (particularly basic/advanced training time) than ours do. However, USAF (and probably USN and USMC aviators) get more flight hours per capita than any other in the world. Add in the simulators (which I'm sure the RAF has, as well), and it makes for a pretty heady mix.

Not a superiority thing...it just is. An investment that we make. It's actually far more expensive than more equipment.

The Marines dropped their standards for Vietnam, but they're back up again. I'm just quite surprised about the minimum physical test you need to take to enter. Something about 2 drop-down pull ups, 45 sit-ups in 2 minutes and 1.5 mile run in 13:30. Seriously who the hell can't do that?

But, it couldn't shoot out of its belly, making it an easy target for any fighter coming up under it.

B17 would fly in a box formation. Each B17G had 13 guns on it.

That's 52 guns ready to kick some serious ass.
