If you have a direct connection between a suicide(which is due to underling issues not just bullying) and punishment to the people who allegedly caused the death. Kids who want revenge and could already be suicidal COULD have a massive effect on someones life who IS innocent. Not that this will happen all the time, but it COULD. IMO it's a horrible state of affairs, but it's one that really isn't that common and doesn't need to affect any one life.
Imagine that I killed myself due to the constant disagreements that I had with "Lowing" over the Internet and that you actually had to deal with a court order, over the Internets.. Ok you're stubborn but not really a name caller, so we'll change that to U.S. Marine.

Dilbert Shush, He stated that my "debate" changed his mind. I was stating the disagreements, but bullying can only be policed by people who bring it up. You can't really charge these two with anything, unless the Victim(who in this case is dead) contacts authorities.

but yeah what ya said convinced me that it is way more complicated than what I want to see done.
The problem today is that people aren't learning the simple sesame street lessons to share and to get along. They grow up as bullies and no one corrects their behavior and then they become bully adults where they bully their spouses, their co workers, their employees or they go on to high finanace where they make money at the countries expense or they go on to be bully cops. At the very least, if bullies could be educated to learn proper societal behavior we would be a lot better off. And its good point to figure out if these kids have a pysch disorder like being a psychopath or sociopath. The last thing we need is a world full or drama queens and bullies.
From what I heard is that these two guys bullied the girl, harrassed her and forced her into having sex with them... and then they used that to bully and torment her some more until she finally committed suicide.... IF that is true then I feel sorry for her and I won't shed a tear if these guys wind up grabbing their ankles in jail, then they will learn first hand what its like to be bullied.
IMO we need to hold school administrators and teachers accountable for not reporting and dealing with bullying and make non-reporting a crime as it is with suspected child sexual abuse and reporting requirements for certain professionals. And there is nothing wrong with making harrassment of a person a crime. If starlets can have anti-stalker laws and anti-paparatizi laws, then why shouldn't children be free of harrassment. Where do you think all the problems about school violence, weapons at school, drug dealing and all of that come from. The adults in charge turn a blind eye and don't give a shit and so the kids don't either.

So, to put it in context one was 17 or under in 2007, so ~11 or under when this started, assume his brother was a year or more older, 12+.TWO Syrian brothers bashed and kidnapped two other men in a brutal revenge attack after being subjected to years of racial vilification, a court has heard.
Today the District Court heard the brothers, who cannot be identified because one was a youth at the time, used phone messages to lure their victims into meeting them at a Golden Grove basketball court early on Christmas Day in 2007.
They are charged with aggravated assault causing harm and kidnapping.
With two other men, they allegedly beat their victims using metal poles and other weapons including large knives, and tied them up, putting one in the boot and the other inside their car.
The man in the boot was later dumped near Gumeracha.
Dr Peter Salu, prosecuting, said a mobile phone had captured a 15-minute "chilling and graphic recording" of the assault.
"You can hear (the victim) begging for mercy for the beating to end," Dr Salu said.
He said the recording contained threats to cut off one of their victims legs and the "terror" in the victim's voice.
That victim suffered rope burns to his neck, arms and wrists, numerous cuts and extensive bruising.
Lawyer Jayne Basheer, for the elder of the brothers, said her client had been subjected to racial vilification at the hands of one of their victims since 2001. "They have been subjected to taunts which started with being called wogs, progressed to arabs," she said.
She said the hard-working family had come to Australia to make a better life, but were subjected to racial taunts which included "Allah is dead" being spray-painted on their cars and their tyres being slashed.
She said the brothers believed one of their victims had stolen a car and keys to the family's business and home. She said they were concerned about future attacks on their family.
They get harassed for years, cars trashed and stolen, their business and home security threatened.
They 'man-up', abduct them, beat the shit out of them and dump them in the outback.
