sometimes you have to stand up for yourself and say its enough.
Apparently she is. FFS she spends more time on there in a night than I do in a week. I guess it's because it's all new to her and so cool. Meanwhile I've grown up with AIM and myspace and facebook and have gotten over it.
One of these days I will snap. Curse out my grandma for commenting on every little thing. Curse out my mom for PM'ing me instead of talking to me in-person since I'm only just down the hall.
They complain that "kids these days" are becoming disconnected and unsociable through all this, when really it's the adults who have stumbled upon it.

The saga continues...
Mom: "How do I make it so that this one friend can't see my friends list?"
Me: "I dunno, put them on your limited profile or whatever."
Mom: "How do I do that?"
Me: "I dunno, you spend more time on there than I do. Maybe you should spend more time on the settings and less time stalking people."
Mom: "I'm not sta.... *trails off and continues stalking people*

These quotes are all from face to face. I refuse to reply to any of her messages. And when she sends me one I yell at her across the house saying that I'm over here.

- Whatcha doin' mom?
- Umm, "collecting demographic data" for "personal research".
I need around tree fiddy.
I only have 2 of my cousins on facebook and they party hard lulz
It all just sort of snowballed. Up until a month or so ago, I was friends with siblings and a few cool aunts and cousins. Things were perfectly fine, we left each other alone.
But then mom, and grandmas, and grandpas, and parents' cousins, and on and on

My moms on facebook, she's a goddamn liability. She uses it to "network" with people she has never met (250 friends for a 60-year old is a bit much, I don't think she knows that many people who use fb), so she has everyone on there, from politicians to the fucking gardener at our summer house, posts all kinds of shit as her status and what really pisses my sister off, is that she posts pics of my sis' kids on there despite my sis repeatedly telling her not to.
Also, while she's constantly on fb, she has no clue about a) netiquette, b) memes or c) quotes or lines from any contemporary movie.
Example: So if I post "Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a big fucking television" etc. as my status, odds are my mom comments on it in lines of "What's wrong son, are you depressed?".
Also, she has made it her mission to have my ex's and my sisters ex's as her buddies. Some of which even we don't have as fb-friends.

Oh man *major facepalm*
Suddenly I feel like I don't have it that bad.
Haha, although the other day I posted a link to that gay car design for nascar and my grandma says something like, "please remember where your gma now calls home, love you".
One time I asked a serious question, "Is there any functional different between a group and a fan page?" and then she says, (lemme look this up, it was so unbelievably that I can't paraphrase) "Hummm.... Is there are definition for functional when using FB? I think it is like defining normal. It depends on ----- fill iin the blank----. Sending you a hug, Gma."
Oi. Thanks for the help, sending you a hug, too

Oh and I really love when it "recommends" you "reconnect" with a certain friend who died 4 years ago
Haha no not at all. I do the same thing when it shows up. I just chuckle and think "silly computer".

No, I don't need an attitude adjustment. You just need to fuck off.
