Very nice landing +1 - Bit like what I could do but then I stopped makes me wanna carry on lol.

Is that the PMDG 747 btw?

Flight sims FTW. It's all about the landings and flying Cessnas trying to see how close you can get to skyscrapers without crashing.

Nice, but not the same. Space Simulator had tons of solar systems, even if the planet count was made up.

As of now its just for fun.

One day however, it might become a crucial training tool, some 747 captains I know use this for their type ratings and performance examinations.

I have have my private pilot's license and I use FSX quite often to train for instrument procedures.  It's not so great for actually learning to fly the plane because a lot of that is feel andreal visual ques, however it is very accurate when it comes to instruments.  I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can actually log up to three hours or something by using flight sim for instrument training, but again don't quote me on that.
