I don't see the charge of manslaughter or murder up on that list of charges, they are merely charging the kids with harrassment. They aren't saying that the kids are the reason it happened, merely that what they did was wrong and unlawful.

Now is that a bully getting what he deserves?

Better parenting, holding parents accountable for the actions of their children. Teaching kids respect. We would do well to start there.
Deal with bullies from the start, don't let them go on for years.
That means taking action over minor stuff, like harassment.
And obviously dealing severely with perpetrators after the event - eg a suicide - to discourage the others.

We might be able to get better parenting, if we didn't have a failing economy. It's really hard to parent when both mom and dad are at work.
Kids have no respect now, because they feel like they have power. They are empowered with this "Every body's special" bullshit. When in reality you have to prove yourself to be special. Also the huge movement against Hitting your kid is counter productive, there is a pretty obvious line between what is abuse and what is a teaching tool. I miss when I was a teenager and you'd see a kid acting like a brat in the mall, the mother would spank them in front of everyone and no one would care. Now a days people would call the cops on that kid.

But that's what happened here? The girl who apparently had sexual relations and then got teased by the two kids(who aren't without sin, but I feel fall into the private sin not court ordered sin), decided to take her own life to show these bullies that she wasn't going to take it anymore.
