How can one get bored of it? You can basically do everything you ever wanted and even more... It's bloody awesome.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
After awhile, it gets kind of boring, so it doesn't hurt to let your dreams take you where they will every now and then.Once you have the ability to manipulate your dreams at will, sometimes you want to let it run wild for the sheer sake of its unpredictability. Your brain might even invent new mental territory that you can later recall in a future dream, instead of doing the same shit over and over.Ilocano wrote:
Yeah. Some of the best dreams I've had were those I just open up and let go of any conventional wisdom. I let someone just lead me around and end up in all sorts of crazy situations that seriously I wouldn't even have thought about in real life. At a certain point, I take control and shape things around me. And then I wake up, feeling I left Nirvana.
i have this all the fucking time, it's weirdCC-Marley wrote:

The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

The funniest thing is when you're powerless, but then realize it's a dream and become empowered.
Example:
I was working at a fast food restaurant and the place was closing down and it was time for me to go home. I told the manager I was going to clock out and she said ok, but then someone walked in and she wanted me to help them out first. So I took the order and made the food and sent the customer on his merry way and was about to clock out and then another person walked in and the manager wanted me to help that person before I could leave. Well this carried on for a while, one person coming in the moment someone else left. Eventually I looked at the clock and it was 4am. Then I thought, "Wait a second, we would've closed by now for sure!" So I knocked over a pile of trays, slammed a plate of food on the floor and told the manager to go fuck herself, and I stormed out of the building. Then it was over.

I always hate when that fucking happens. By the time you realize that it's a dream and start going on a power trip you wake up moments later and become .mtb0minime wrote:

What's probably the most awesome is the kind of lucid dream where you have some power, but you're not in enough control of your mind to be sure whether it's real or not (if it even occurs to you). That makes stuff like dream telekinesis all that much more fun and awesome.13/f/taiwan wrote:

Just avoid doing the same shit over and over again? I like flying and that's the only thing I might be doing over and over again in my dreams. Other than that I usually have "no limits" in my dreams, well... I can't seem to be able to die.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
