By travelling 330km to the nearest city, yeah probably...

Except I work 6 to 7 days a week in 10 to 12 hour shifts. So... Not really practical. Especially considering how often I need to pick-up new clothes for work.

This is why I bolded 'where possible' in the quote...

Alice? Yeah. Well, probs a large one. 30,000 people isn't tiny so to speak.

Darwin is a bastard of a place and the Labor govt deserves to be shot for what they've done to land prices up there. Pack of cunts.

Travel-Lodge Mirimbeena is fucking epic. You can get a 'town house' there for $160 a night, sleep 5 people on beds and sneak in, and fit, about 10 more with swags.

Staying in Darwin itself is alright, especially near Mitchell Street and Smith Street.

Anywhere else should probs be avoided. Might be cheaper, but there are some bloody horrible places around. Never go to Palmerston. Ever. That place is hell. on. earth.

In Australia a town with 30 people is considered huge.

I guess it's fair since an Aussie (or Irish) accent in America is a panty dropper too. Now, does an American accent work on the Irish lasses in the same way? Love me some redheads.

In all honesty, most of my clothes are made in India, Central America, and Southeast Asia.   Generally speaking, a lot of clothing manufacturers have moved to areas where the labor is even cheaper than China's.

Chinese market is actually quite expensive for making clothes right now... Central American and SE Asia are the new hotspots.
