The Blind Side - 10/10

A feel good movie in the very definition of the word. One of the best sports movies I've seen since Miracle.

If you haven't seen it and you have even one iota of passion for football, watch this fucking movie.

I rewatched beetlejuice the other day.  still 10/10  -it's one of the best movies of all time.  Michael Keaton was brilliant.

So I was looking back quite a few pages in hopes of finding a good movie I should rent and came to the realization that a lot of you have absolutely retarded taste. High ratings for pure shit, low ratings for cinematic masterpieces.

I took a film appreciation class in high school, I'm qualified for this sort of shit.

Remember the Titans is much better, The Blind Side was ok, not 10/10 though.

Jennifer´s Body - 6/10

Take out the Fox´s grade A sexiness and you get a grade C horror flick.
That being said, the movie felt like an hommage to one of the sexiest chicks of our time, the kissing scene gave me a raging boner I´m still fighting with. The whole demon killing part seemed like it was placed in there to not get it rated as a softcore porn movie though.

All in all it was pretty dumb but I love the Fox. And yes, I am fully aware of me behaving like a 14 year old and I´m content with it!

Cliched to the max in the plot but the setting, vibe and cinematography are all fucking ace. Acting isn't horrible either with that Honsou bloke putting in another solid performance. Odd to see him play a bad dude though.


Interesting premise (a bit like Jumper, but with a little more thought), slick execution in the finale (which is far less cliched than the rest of the movie) and seriously... Epic, epic vibe to the whole thing from shooting on location. Shows the relatively normal side of Hong Kong.

It was only about 90 minutes long, which isn't bad, but trying to do everything they wanted to and introduce as many characters as they did they should have made it longer. I didn't know half of them and I didn't care for any of them. All though you could say its not about the characters. Even then, the action scenes should have been pulled out a bit so you could see more. Plus a longer kraken and Hades confrontation and more scenes of the gods would have been nice.

I still enjoyed it for what it was though.

I'd give it a 6 at best.  They just kept moving from one random poorly done battle to the next, it was kinda lame.  The best guy by far was the random monster who was a good guy.  The kraken battle was terrible, he chased that little flying rat for the entire time. 

Percy Jackson & The Olympians was a wayyyyyyyyyy better Greek Gods/Demigods movie.

Fiighting - 5/10 +1 for the awesome soundtrack

Well, it´s with the dude from Step Up as a streetfighter. Yep, exactly what I thought. But the film ain´t that bad to my surprising, partly due to the decent play of the Hustle & Flow main actor.
Decent fighting, a bit cheesy lovestory and unfullfilling end, but ok for one watch. Great music.

My head still isn't right, went to see my brother so went out two nights on the run, earliest we got in was this morning at half 4. I don't want to check how much money I withdrew from my account.
