Been getting weird issues lately. Firefox and WMP closing at random, MSN crashing with error dialog, and BC2 crashing at random along with a dash of random bluescreens when playing or not. Only started happening a day or two ago, but nothing new has been installed or changed.

BSOD dump says ntoskrnl.exe is at fault, and a bit of googling has shown that to be a kernel boot up process which worries me, but Im not having problems at start up

halp?

id download ccleaner (or whatever to clean/fix registry), install, run the registry part of it and see if it finds any dll's missing.

Can you list the programs that are crashing for us?

Windows Desktop Manager (aero)
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Windows Live Messenger
Firefox
Photoshop CS4
Windows Media Player
Crysis

And one other I cannot recall (it only happened once). Sometimes, once the program has crashed, it wont open again until I reboot. If I try them before a restart, they crash immediately.

Sounds like your RAM is failing. Run memtest86+ to be sure.
