Well I where I live we do have the best tap water in the country (no, srsly). But even so bottled water always tastes awful to me. I refill my bottle a few times a day then pitch it (recycle).
Bottled water is good for emergencies too. Never know when the water will be turned off.

55 gallon barrels FTW. You'd expect the water inside to be all nasty after a while, but it comes out just fine.

I rotate the water every 3-6 months and its always drinkable with no odor. I clean the barrel out with bleach and a lot of rinsing. Closer to a year and I'd bleach and boil the water before drinking.Trotskygrad wrote:
