it really depends where youre at. there have bee studies done on the water around here. seems lots of rocket fuel seeped into the water table during the pre ww2 rocket testing over here at JPLDoctor Strangelove wrote:
Tap Water is the shit.
Not only does it taste better but it also is fluoridated so it keeps your teeth clean.

Well I where I live we do have the best tap water in the country (no, srsly). But even so bottled water always tastes awful to me. Even when I'm in places like New Jersey the tap water is better than the bottled shit. Though you do need to run it through a filter first, fucking New Jersey.eleven bravo wrote:

I rotate the water every 3-6 months and its always drinkable with no odor. I clean the barrel out with bleach and a lot of rinsing. Closer to a year and I'd bleach and boil the water before drinking.Trotskygrad wrote:
55 gallon barrels FTW. You'd expect the water inside to be all nasty after a while, but it comes out just fine.
although I will say the pressurized water tanks the army/Nat Guard uses are even nicer.
I'm glad I live in Iceland where tap water tastes better than any bottled water.Trotskygrad wrote:

You're basically drinking non-carbonated versions of, ummm, "soda", sugar water... It's not as healthy as you think.Marlo Stanfield wrote:

The "peasant" bottled water like Dasani and Aquafina do that. They take tap water, run it through their own special filters so they can advertise as such on their bottles, and then sell it to the masses.Pubic wrote:
A lot of bottled water companies here just fill from the tap, as the water quality is pretty good.
