Well, I have tried everything. Even tried changing the settings of the card and the game itself to the point where I had to reinstall windows.

Still, I get this VERY annoying lag:

Every driver is up-to-date.
BF2 steam

And I have a sadface. Please help.

Go to My Documents, and delete the BF2 folder. It'll make it re-optimize shaders. Might fix it.

It's not the shaders either. I should mention, that BF2 is the ONLY game this happens in.

Worth a try, surely?

Perhaps backup BF2 on Steam, delete local content, and install from the backup again. If that doesn't work, try re-downloading.

Tried re-downloading as well. No, really, I tried most, even raked through google to find a solution.

Allright, I minimised the problem by turning off my Geometry to the minimum. Howver, it is pretty hard to fufill my role as a sniper. Some kind of solution would be nice.
