Round ended, here's what happened

For the first one, I was flanking around the back of some attackers, came up behind a sniper and blew the fuck out of him with the 40mm, not noticing the guy infront of him who got the exit bullets

Second one was I shot a medic who was infront of an explosive barrel, which blew up and killed the other guy.

Both on hardcore by the by.

You can get multikills all day with a noobtube if you're so inclined, and there's really no reason to ever use the shotgun attachment...which is sad.

I wish they'd actually buff the 40 mm shotgun. A 40 mm shotgun would seriously fuck some shit up...I think it should be pretty similar to the blast from a BF2 claymore, but more narrow of a damage cone (maybe a 15 degree arc). It should easily one-shot people at less than 20 feet, considering the NS2000 already achieves that with magnum ammo.

As is, its basically good for finishing off a person who's been shot a few times, or as a good way to soften up a target before switching to automatic fire spray. Sure, you can get double kills, but it has to be the right circumstances, whereas you can trip all over yourself while firing off your 40mmGL and still manage to get at least one double kill a round.

Pointers on the drill. So, what do you aim for for the kill? How close do you have to get? I've been killed everytime I've tried it.

just use it on snipers that are sucked into their scopin', or people on stationary AT's/MG's etc. way easy.

there's an xbox360 achievement to get a headshot with it: 'The Dentist'.

shock paddles and the drill etc. are fun kills but dont seem to have great hit detection. use in certain-hit scenarios only.

Yeah with the drill you wanna get closer than knifing distance. Then just aim at whatever body part you want. Takes very little time to kill them. We're talking half the knife animation time.
