I have had a crappy game on my computer for a while i just went to uninstall it and it says it can't find the uninstall log file. So i when to control pannel ad remove programs same error how do i get the crappy game off my computer?
Did you move the location of the game? If you did, move the game directory back to the place it was originally installed. The uninstall is looking for the uinstall file there.

well everytime i first installed it it would freeze i got lucky once but i guess some of the files didn't work ill try to reinstal it and uninstall it maybe it did miss a file or somthingAgent_Dung_Bomb wrote:

The other option is that you do a manual uninstall. That would entail deleting the directories containing the game files, and then manually scouring the registry for the game's entries. Some games aren't bad, but others must have 3 dozen or more reg entries. Some times the ones to delete are obvious, and other times not, so you have to be careful or you will find yourself reinstalling Windows.
It's not the hard to manualy uninstall.
First delete the dfolder with the game.
Click start/run and type in regedit
Find out the company name of "The crappy game"
Go into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ SOFTWARE and delete the key with the company name on it.

That isn't always the case. Depending on the game, there may be multiple entries throughout the registry. Some are inocuous and won't hurt if you don't remove them, but indicating that the only entry is the one in HKLM/Software isn't accurate.Stealth42o wrote:
