completely understandable. The entire sports game market is developed for consoles anyways. If I was into them, I can't imagine I would play them on PC.
Indeed, but I say the same about FPS; I prefer the laid-back style of consoles. From what I've experienced, FPS on a PC is more intense than on an XBox. You know - hunched over your keyboard, eyes fixed on the screen, right arm at the ready, finger ready to click at any instant, fingers tensed at WASD.. I guess it comes down to how you like to game, I prefer the chilled enviornment of consoles
I like the chilled environment of PCs.
But how chilled can it get? You can't exactly lay back and put your feet on the table..

That's what you think.

I don't hunch over, I don't play for srs. I have a comfortable chair and I'm totally relaxed. I don't have small children getting crazy intense over voip. I just screw around in games for shits and giggles.

I tend to hunch over more with a controller than a keyboard.

imo..less hacking and people actually pay for the games for the most part.

well people online have for the most part payed for the games. And in my entire gaming career I think I've only seen around 10 hackers.

I lean back into my office chair, stretch out my legs beneath and have my elbows resting relaxedly on my large desk.
Also, I have a couch behind my chair, still in reach of my wired gamepads, so I can sit there and play two-player split-screen games on my PC.
(Not that there are many split-screen games available for the PC platform these days.)

Yes, my eyes are fixed on the screen. That's where the games I want to play are projected. Where else would I look?
Even if I'm playing Street Fighter 4 against my girlfriend on my PC I'm looking at the screen.
I'm not playing chess, where I'd had time to do something else in the meantime.

Yeah, I'm right-handed, so my right hands has to be ready on my mouse to click the buttons.
Where do you keep your hands when playing on a console with a gamepad?
I doubt that you leave it out of the grip of your hands often.

Yes, fast paced games like FPS or RTS require you to have your fingers ready on the buttons.
This is equally valid for similar games on console platforms.

12 years of training allow me to rest my hand there without any tension.
I can even find those keys, plus space bar and CTRL for thumb and pinky respectively, without looking.
WASD is my home row.

would haver to agree with globefish tbh. I find my hands hurting after a while if i use console controllers but with a keyboard and mouse it's so much more comfortable. And when playing on a console it seems much for claustrophobic than on a pc. The layout of the screen and such, even on a 52" screen just seems like there is less space than a pc for some reason.

Two reasons why I sold my 360 last month.
