alright, here it goes:

I'm debating on getting this for PS3 or PC, I'm not sure which.

i have a friend who runs BFbc2 on a nearly identical machine as mine, he says it runs fine but Ive been reading quite a few posts about performance issues and how much it seems to vary from person to person.

my system specs:
Pentium 4- 3.0Ghz w/ hyper-threading
2 gigs of DDR2 RAM
nVidia 9500GT w/ 1 gig of ram
the rest doesn't matter

I know battlefield has always been a PC game, i was practically addicted to bf2 and 2142, but how does it play on a console? hopefully better than the first bad company, i didn't care for it too much

You might struggle. Your machine is hardly future proof. I'd suggest a new processor, new ram, and 4 gigs of it, and a new vid card.

alright, i guess ill go with ps3. dont want to waste 50 bucks on something that i cant take full advantage of.

Seriously, PS3 is your better option for the moment.
You're going to miss out on dedicated servers, mods and whatever advantages PC gaming has, that's all I'm saying.
