did you had that mutch trouble whit repair points? wel there is a selution. choose a game and be a engeneer take a car and drive to a mounted machine gun place te car in front of it shoot on the car and before it explodes repair it but you must be in the car so go in the car and press F3 and you will get the repair points in no time

Like on the back of a Humvee.. interesting.

Might be the only way to get the Expert Engineer Badge.

Hrm, anyone try this yet? In a similar vein, can this be done in reverse? What if you park a humvee next to a TOW, and shoot the TOW with the Humvee gun... Would you then get points for repairing the TOW? (I've never tried, I've only repaired vehicles and commander assets).

no.
this in-vehicle repairing must have been an oversight by dice, because you arent supposed to be able to get repair points for your own, or empty vehicles.

EDIT: If it does work (my idea, or the original one), I'd be curious as to how long it'd take to get 25 repair points. I might try it in single player mode...

Ahhh, makes sense. I just don't see how 25 repair points can be done legitimately in a round. I don't have 100 engineer hours anyways, so not a big deal until then.

Grab a jeep in gulf of oman, drive around like crazy to every vehicle on the map, I basically got 17 in a round and still had time.

Now you can get repair points on commander assets so 25 shouldn't be that difficult.

Yes this does work... It also works if you flip the vehicle upside down and then jump in the back and start repairing. Why flip it? Because the vehicle takes constant damage as you constantly repair it. Probably for best effect have a team member there with you otherwise you will lose the damage battle.

I'm sure this will be fixed next patch. Even then repair points are so slow you don't get a whole lot out of it expect maybe your badge on a slow server.

u cud do it with a chopper or a boat cos u can b a passenger with no weapon in those vehicles but i really want vet engi cos i got vet aid and vet resup resup is so damn easy i got 49 points in a round by resupply

I imagine if you did that manuver one time to get your engy badge (which, honestly, 25 repair points is rediculous), EA would ignore it anyway. I certainly would.
