maybe your not connecting to servers hosted closer to you when its laggy. what do the pings come back as on the laggy servers?

ATI cards and drivers suck dick on this game, known problem. takes twice as long for ati cards to get into game as nvidia ones

input lag before was to do with CPU and GPU not keeping up with one another, i think? im not getting any, anyway.

turn all the settings down to absolute lowest and see if you still get it then. will rule out whether it's the game-engine or your computer, surely.

Dialog is however, for some reason, I lol'd more during the BC1 cutscenes. Just seems like they were funnier and less serious in BC1...
