Hi, I was wondering if is it safe to share my in-game username and password in order to unlock the L96A1 sniper rifle? Is possible to that person once have access to my username and pw to change my old password? Or the password can only be changed only by an email confirmation?

I ask this because I don't have the SF pack and I don't want to buy it only for one weapon.

Personally I wouldn't.  To answer your question I'm not sure :p
But if you really want it and dont have any friends with SF try a internet cafe with the game and just play a round or two on SF and you have your unlocks.

As far as i know it's IMPOSSIBLE to change your password.
I now have SF so all my BF2 playing freinds are happy

Why would you??? Just Buy SF! Its getting popular now anyway, people are finally getting bored of the Karkand and flyboy maps.

yep true, the sf maps are more chanllanging nowadays.. kark is getting,,,, euh dulll well thats not the right word but still, the sf expansionpack is getting better, servers arent that laggy anymore..
so just buy the exp pack..
i think is a wise decsission..

I can play on your account and get the unlocks for you, if you want. I will remove your account from my computer and not copy your password info/username anywhere. I almost got my friend to do it, but decided to buy SF so I could have the maps too. PM me if you want me to.

Buy SF.  The maps are so much better and there's more to it than new maps & unlocks.  Zip lines? CS grenades?  adds a new dimension to plain vanilla and I personally prefer the SF maps.  Go buy it!

To date the best option I have seen (aside from simply purchasing Special Forces) is to go down to a gaming cafe of some sort that has Special Forces and play on your account there for a little bit.

I would never trust some random person online with account information (of any sort) unless you really want to lose that account.

Hmm . . . didn't someone get their stats wiped for this, iirc?

Anyhoo, if you made your account through GAMESPY and NOT EA, then you can change your password. Otherwise, I'm not to sure . . .
