I'll most likely get myself out of it, most are able to, but there's still a (very) small chance of being forced into the military.

But this got me thinking, what a fucked up system it is. I have to go to some military center down town, lie my ass off about my extreme allergies, and then hope it's enough to get myself out of it.

If I don't, chances are I'll have to serve from APRIL 2011. Fucking hell, that'd postpone university by two full years. I can choose to study at once, but then I'd postpone the service until after my studies. After getting an edumacation, I'd be forced into a shitty year of a shitty military. Oh lawd.

A friend of mine's cousin studied space engineering and was forced into military when he was finished, even though he was ready to go work on some space program.

So BF2s, ideas to get me out of it. So far I have pollen, asthma and "strange eating habits".

In Finland it doesn't matter if you have dual nationality - you want to be Finnish, do the service. Or go to prison.

Although can't you choose to do civilian service in Norway as well?
