The world isn't going to end and Obama is not Stalin. Are our freedoms threatened? Yes, kind of but the main gripe right now is the health care bill and without a public option it's hardly socialist in nature... All it does is try to put price control in place (which is lolz) via forced competition (more lolz) while piling on more expensive regulations for the health care industry to wade through. The only result of the health care legislation will be higher premiums except for a tiny percentage of the worst off among us who might see their costs drop.

It's attempting to subsidize the health care of the poor, and the health care industry itself, by siphoning money from the rich. And yes, the way they are doing it is 100% corrupt. Fight the health care bill if you want to, but at least know the reasons you are fighting instead of listening to a bunch of angry people who more than likely don't even know why they're angry (see: ATG).
