Wallpaper, your macro work is incomparable. it has got me interested in trying macro, i can't wait to see what tubes will do . . .
Thanks Burnzz! All it takes to get into it is a $10 reversing ring...
PS: B&W macro of lens has been uploaded to flickr and added to the group

Testing the macro capabilities of this lens. Not bad I thought.

If anyone wants wallpapers of any of my pics, just tell me
i always thought the fifty was a specialty lens, now i wish i had learned with a fixed. telephoto's turned everyone into picture takers, and made photography hard for me.Wallpaper wrote:
Being stuck with a 50mm FTL
nice capture, you've a good eye for seeing the picture before it's taken.
Thanks. The 50s are good for creativity, but when youre limited to ONLY the 50, there are a lot of shots you miss. Especially with architecture and forests. I agree though, being limited in some aspects can make you take better pictures.
^5 nice dof..
is that with the 50mm? what aperture did you use?
//
ahh nvm.. flickr sez
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1000)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: -1 EV

Yep. Pretty much all of my pics from my 20D are from my 50mm 1.8. Only other lenses I have are old olympus manuals, which use for reversed macros, but they are mostly useless for taking normal pictures if you dont have liveview or a special focusing screen.
On my way to Pismo Beach on Saturday the 27th, My trip there and back.
