In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Although of course it could be that he just started out travelling along the circle, and you closed his topics too quickly for the full desired trolling effects to take place, which would have probably inevitably happened or someone would have 'caught' on and started to get pissed off. I could go as far as saying you were the only person that got trolled by that guy because you were the only one to realise or acquire negativity about it all, from what I saw of those topics at least
