Since we ousted the g00ns this spring and got them shut down (www.g00ns.net). They started up again and are having hayday hacking our TeamSpeak server again. So...we switched to a newer voice client. http://www.gamecomm.com is a pretty cool setup, kinda like Ventrilo and Teamspeak all wrapped up into one. There is a bulletin board system, kinda like a forum. You can PM people, Set a comment, file transfer, lots of cool features, and the voice quality is amazing.

Just wondering if anyone else out there is using it.

Bleh. Crap.

Client is mucky and force skinned.

Instructions on how-the-fuck to use it were poor. No default setup (ie, I couldn't pop into a demo server to test this shit out) and the website didn't help me find a way to establish any kind of test.

Third, no settings other than the login settings before you're logged in?

Finally, and most importantly, I have to run my server (for a fee) through them -- essentially loosing all control over the reliablity, configuration, and general usefulness of their service. (As an example, who knows where their servers are -- it may be essential for the voice server to be NEAR ME so that mates can speak with as little lag as possible.)

Overall, I'd give it an "Alpha -- Don't bother yet."

BTW. Friend of mine that runs Teamspeak on his PC while also running BF2 seems to be having this issue.

Sometimes while playing BF2, time is random in this case, Teamspeak will quit working. It will be up and running however no longer transmitting audio. The only way he has found to fix it is to exit BF2 and exit Teamspeak. Restart the programs and server prog. and then restart BF2.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so how did you fix it if you did?

Cheers.
