IIRC, you get 4-star after being top 10 scorer, or top 30?, of the month, which is nigh impossible these days without hacking. Once you get it, you keep it.

^Me to, finally went back after not playing for 2 years and got Colonel.
Alright so this is what happened. I been trying lately to figure out what happened and everything but I cant seem to find the answer anywhere and I am hoping that someone can help me fix my bf2 problem. My patch if I am not wrong is like 1.1.something something. And like I am NOW a sergeant I got promoted just today but before for my other rank was the one before that. I checked the BFHQ and it said that im ONLY a private when in the game map wake island I am a sergeant. I dont know what is going on cause I got a LOT of metals and ribbons but it doesnt seem to show up on my acc in my BFHQ. Can anyone help? I would REALLY appreciate it cause I WANT my unlock for the 50 cal. LOL So, long story short it doesnt show in my BFHQ so it doesnt know that I got promoted so that means that it OWES ME MY THREE UNLOCKS THAT BASTAURD! thanks much appreciated
So, actual patch is 1.5, you have probably play on some private server that have own ranking system, just aplly actual patch and play on oficial ranked servers.forlove4444 wrote:

So i finally solwed the win7 BF2 problem as i got help from here. The game was not running because i only installed 1.5 and someone said you need 1.41 and then 1.5 how lame isnt it? So after i could run it i had serious ping issues and lag. After a lot of research i found it out that my integrated network card on the main board needs a driver for win7. Sadly im outdated as my MSI board dont has a driver (MSI K8N Neo4 btw) so one thing was left to do. Reinstall XP on my system. Since that i play without any problems! After i get a new rig (if i get rich) i will install win7 again.

After 5 years!!! I got it at last. No other game has been able to match BF2 after 5 years. I still play it regularly.
GUY'S, I HAVE A QUESTION.
Ive was looking for my veteran badge in spec ops and support.
It says 20 kills to attain thease and while playing Fushee pass i got more than required. Mostly in the anti aircraft and apc.
First game it was 21 kills and then 26 kills both playing as spec ops and then support.
i really had to play my ass off just for the kills but no upgrade on promotion.
really disheartnend
any ideas ?
