Wow, just played hard core and its great. 2-3 bullets kills people. You can mow down an entire squad and THERE IS NO DAMN AUTOHEALING !!!!! It takes some time to get used to but its fun. Downside is that the chopper is even more devastating. There are no croshairs on stationary guns nor ironsights Also no croshairs or iron sights on dart guns either

Are you saying it doesn't let you use ironsights on anything? Sounds more like Counter-Strike mode than hardcore mode.zeidmaan wrote:

Yes, the tracer gun and stationary MG have no iron sights in hardcore, which is superfail.
The m24 also kills just about everything with a single body shot which is fairly annoying.
And one more (the worst), all vehicles can still use a 3rd person view.

You can actually be tactical as you're not spotted by 20 different people and there's no killcam. You can hide around their spawns with a SCAR-L and pick off people all day. It's easier to flank. It's easier to play "hiding sniper". It's much easier to pick off helicopter pilots (since most bodyshots are 1 hit kills). I think if there's an infantry only mode, I'd prefer hardcore.

It would be good IO, but HC mode + vehicles will always be fail. That grenade tank/the bradley become machines of ultimate death.

On the topic of not being able to see shit, does anyone else have a hard time using scopes through that white dust/snow all over the place? Its really fucking annoying, I hope not all maps have it.
I usually prefer hardcore over normal in CoD, but this time it seems to be a snipers dream. There's already a massive sniper problem in BF games (mainly cos of the large maps/large view distances), you can't go ahead and just make it even more appealing to be a faggot with hay stuck on his face.Bevo wrote:

Sometimes it can feel great to be able to take down 10 enemies before even one of them spots you...
But you got to know how to play it, and when to stop...
But I do like the addition of killcam to BFBC2, lets you see who shot you and where from

To clarify, you can only use ironsights since there is no croshairs for anything. Unfortunately stationary machineguns and the dart gun dont have any ironsights. So those 2 things have no aim whatsoever. Everything else has ironsights or scope/red dot..._j5689_ wrote:

As other people said, IO would be great on HC but vehicles are ridiculously overpowered
And "rush" mode is definitely not made for HC.
