i just wanted to ask how i can find out if my graphics card supports fast write? i have a Leadtek A6600GT TDH.

I am pretty sure it is. Most gfx cards after about 2000 are Fast-Write compatible. I am pretty sure, however you may like to confirm with some other people.

yes it does. Now the question is does your mobo support the feature as well. Most do, but cheaper boards with cheap chipsets may not.

But fast write does more harm than good most of the time. It can be very unstable.

well, my mainboard supports fast write (MSI PT880 Neo FISR)....why does it more harm than good? should i turn it off? is yours turned off?

The last cards that required Fast Writes was the Radeon 9600 series. You should be able to run with it off just fine. It doesn't actually hurt to have it on, and doesn't noticeably effect performance either way, but as was pointed out it can lead to stability issues, particularly if you overclock your GPU.
