How did you get these pictures btw?

When you want to risk your own life that allright with me go ahead but putting other people's lives at risk with your stupid actions you deserve to be punished. This guy probably didn't even thought about other people which would make it fair to cut him out off the gene pool. IMHO
My feelings are always with whoever is the passenger/pedestrian in these incidents.
Imagine if that barrier was a few inches to the left...
ur an asshole.kn0ckahh wrote:

You people are talking like shit never happens while driving slowly. While it could be the case that he was being irresponsible and he fucked up, we still have no evidence about it. At least wait for some more info before saying those kind of things.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

@ splinterstrike, I saw it on the news (happened one week ago- or so), then I found the source I posted on the Top gear magazine.
the guy who made that thread had his car impounded and when he went to pick it up he saw the R8 and took pics. It's all over the greek automobile sites now.
He didn't know what he had 'till it was gone... along with his legs.
"Raise the flag high! Let the degenerates know who comes to claim their lives this day!"
Yeah, I think some of you need to bashing the fella when you have no idea why he crashed.. For all you know, he probably crashed due to a problem with the car(manufacture error). Remember the recent re-call by Toyota?
There are a number of possibilities as to why the car became wrecked that does not leave him at fault(e.g. hitting a large pothole making the car swerve a few inches to the left/right, car in front of his used the windshield sprayers and some of it hit his impairing him temporarily etc).

wow... messed up... where in Greece do you live again?
Wait... without me having to read the source the guy got the car for his 21st birthday?
Fuck, there goes the resell value.
the evidence is in the pictures, there's side railing sticking all through the car. If this wasn't his fault sorry for the dude. Still fat chance he's like most 21 year olds and thought he had enough experience to tame the beast.Metal-Eater-GR wrote:

The reason I react like this is because recently some prick living close by me want racing with his 3 year old son crashed the car a and killed his son in the process. He was driving a ferrari at high speed, I don't respect that man yes he's in a lot of pain because he lost his son so I guess i should feel for him. But I don't people have a brain and should use it, don't put other people's lives at risk they didn't chose to drive fast unlike the driver of the car.
In that case I fully agree. But in this situation it was the drivers loss and not of the passengers. He is 21 and he lost his legs. Very harsh imo.
But why was he going 100+ km/h? Unless the Audi R8 has the same acceleration problem as the Toyotas, it is his fault for driving at the speed.13/f/taiwan wrote:

Make X-meds a full member, for the sake of 15 year old anal gangbang porn watchers everywhere!
Why did he get daddy to pay for a trackday for him. It would of been miles safer not like he couldn't afford it either.
It happened in December I believe, the pics spread through the car community like AIDSMetal-Eater-GR wrote:

Isn't there bigger things to worry about in Greece than some rich douche and his R8... shit, from what I hear over here, Greece is in meltdown
Do what you gotta do to survive, loot the ancient temples (again), steal and eat metal, all of that shit, just don't leave us!

ignorance is bliss they say
So everything is fine then......who'd have thought
A moment of silence for the passing of a nice car.
As a memorial;
Here's a picture of an Audi R8, in it's prime.

This is why you keep speed on tracks, where it belongs. Guarantee Greece has at least one motorsport track where they have open track days. If not, there must be one in a neighboring country.
Certainly there's a chance that it wasn't his fault, but when you give a 21 year old an R8 for his birthday, that implies irresponsible parenting and a kid who thinks that because he has a sports car that he's Ayrton Senna when it just doesn't work that way.
