I can't seem to get any better than 35 to 40 fps, anyone got any ideas? I updated my videocard driver to the most recent one and that didn't seem to work. My system runs at about 45 degrees celcius... My system specs are on my sig. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
84.21 drivers suck so i went back to 81.91. go do that, and turn ur graphics down a bit since EA's patch made the game a bit laggy...

No, AA is off. I tweaked the settings so that most are medium except for 2 I think are on high. My resolution is running at 1600x1200, but it doesn't change at all when I go down to 1280x1024.
hmm i guess its the new driver... so use get the 81.98 and see if that helps.

Did you see those links I provided? Are they unhelpful? And why run at 1600x1200 if there's no difference?

Still working on those links. I think they will help a lot. There is no difference in the framerate. So its okay to have the higher res.

UPDATE: Well, I changed the driver for my videocard to the one Cyborg Ninja recommended, updated my processor driver to one that handles the X2 better, and downloaded a multi-core Windows XP hotfix. Things do feel much smoother in the game now and my frame rate went up by about 10 fps, so thats not too bad. I get about 45 to 50 fps now. I'm glad that helped, thanks a lot to everyone that gave input. I really appreciate it.

haha thats what i run at. my system is AMD Athlon 1.24 Gigz, 1 gig of ram, geforce 6200 (128mb), and a few big ass hard drives. i run it at 800x600 and most of my settings low if i want to play on 50+ player servers. +1 if u feel bad for me lolTowelly wrote:
