I've always liked Fry as an actor, but as a public speaker, he's even more impressive.
Great find, clause.

Stephen Fry speaks on the Intelligence ² Debate over the catholic church. It catches very politely on (and it remains also), divides however in the process of the video ever more violently out, on its own Gentleman kind and the metaphor to the relationship of the catholic church to sexuality at minute 16 is as magnificent as appropriate. He made some damn good points in that speech. While I do feel he unfairly blames the Church for some areas (the Aztec bit, for example, but not saying they're scot-free in that issue), he encompasses a variety of problems we face today. Honestly, I thought he sounded like a bit of a 21st century Martin Luther at some points, because he's not just bashing the Church like a lot of stand-up comedians or writers, but he's actually pointing out faults and suggesting improvements. We do have a problem with the stubborn people who hold the power, and there would be a considerable amount of change to be implemented were these issues to be redressed, but it's going to take a whole lot of willpower and effort to do so, but this speech one of the finest starting points I've seen.
brilliant speech.
