Personally, I hated the fishermen and kids (spoiled brats as fishing is lucrative up there). The feeling has waned a bit but was especially strong when the fam was stationed in AK. Those guys push it with their gear and boats with little respect or regard to the environment -then call the Coast Guard to come save them when their luck ran out. Next thing I know, Pops is off -flying in weather you wouldn't even venture outside in. Screw the 'townies'.
