The embryo is not "their" cells, the dna is unique, hence a new individual.  Responsible adults use the appropriate prevention methods if they're not ready for the "dramatic change" of children.  Wrapping up or taking a pill is not difficult.

This is supposed to be a big deal or something? I could give two shits if planned parenthood bought ad space.

What are they scared of? That the ad will lead to abortion being banned or something?

Tempest in a Teapot.

The add didn't even mention abortion.  A big waste of money, if you ask me.  It basically said, sometimes life is hard, family is important, visit our website...

orly? let's ban surgeries and other methods of treating cancer then, shall we? dna of cancerous cells is unique, "goddidit" and all that crap,  right?

yeah, but there are irresponcible adilts too, as well as stupid/inexperienced kids, contraception failures - the list goes on. let them all be fruitful and multiply so that we have more welfare moms and neglected kids.

I almost threw something at the TV, but I refrained.  It was my brothers TV.

Babies compared to cancer ... of course, that pretty much describes your approach to a child developing within his/her mother.  You do realize how many professional athletes/doctors/authors etc would not be among us if their mothers shared your opinion, right?  But nevermind, a child born to young parents couldn't possibly be loved or grow to successful adult life.  Let's just snuff out that candle.

you brought this "dna" thing up, not me. and yes, that's my approach: a piece of protoplasm growing inside a woman which if left there could significantly affect her health, change her body boyond recovery, even kill her - doesn't that resemlbe something?
foetus is by no means a human, it's just some biological stuff that, given proper care, could be made into one. if mother doesn't intend to bother giving that care not only she should have the right to dispose of that thing and the means to do so available to her - she ought to dispose if it.

you do realise how many worthless bums are roaming the streets, what enormous amounts are being spent on welfare and other social care crap because a lot of idiot "mothers" - if the word can be used for them - out there didn't share my opinion, right?

ah, now you are worried about children needing love, huh? are you ready to pay for that? ffs, why don't you go to ghana, dude - "poor kids" are dime a dosen there - and contribute to the noble goal of helping them grow to succesfull adult life, and leave those who have the means of controlling themselves being fruitfull in peace already.

ok, i've just shed a bitter tear for the poor kids. moving on.
