I played it for about 20 minutes. The graphics are a bit bland and the level design felt monotonous. I played as a Marine, got killed 6 times in a row by an Alien and quit. I'll have another go at it this afternoon. I want this game to be good but at the moment it kind of screams mediocre.

Did you read GI's review or just look at the score? The reviewer was a retard, "predator too stealthy, wall walking disorientating" bullshit. Try the demo atleast. Or just let the reviewer decide for you.

thats odd considering its not out, admittedly the demo is shit, its a 360 demo they quickly slapped together for PC, its got matchmaking, which the game doesn't, it has a game mode that is effectively the worst in the game.

Even than I'm a little confused. He's angry about the Predator campaign being focused on stealth more than melee. The Predator is all about stealth isn't it?

Just finished playing a few rounds of the demo. It has its charms but not something I'd pay full price for. Finishing moves are fun and climbing on walls with the alien is fun but takes some getting used to. Deathmatch blows, but some more team oriented modes would be cool.
Yeah, not worth full price, but definitely fun. The finishing move conga line is hilarious. I think my son got it to a five person one too. Sucks that there aren't nametags over the players. Makes it difficult to find your friends from foes.OmniDeath wrote:

For that reviewer disoriented by all the wall walking, well, he just sucks then. That is one of the key advantages of the alien. Fun taunting a Predator who can't reach you.

For me the biggest problem is the lack of a decent pounce. The alien pounce in AvP2 was huge and incredibly awesome, yet in this it's quite small and disappointing.
The predator disc seems a tad overpowered but all in all when i've been playing the game and not waiting in the load screens or matchmaking i've had fun. Too many people will complain that the predator is overpowered and the alien is underpowered though. Going to be annoying dealing with all the retards who don't know how to play alien.
