Adobe Fireworks would do the trick, or Image Ready if you have an older version of the CS. Not sure out side of Adobe programs as they're all I use.

@OP, i assume you mean an animation? Not a solid state gif? If so...

You can use photoshop CS4... just have to make sure it is the 32bit version.. 64bit version DOES NOT have the compatibility.




To resize the gif.. save your gif to your computer.

Open photoshop, and then go to File->Import->Video Frames to Layers

In the File Name box type “*” ( or you can type the name manually) The window will now show every type of file

Select your gif and you have done



To resize, go IMage-> Image size.. and change the dimensions.

Then make sure you save for web, and select gif.


El finito!


EDIT: If you want to edit any of the frames of the gif..., once opened, go Window -> Animation

edit: hwo do i get my grubby little paws on CS4?

Otherwise, perhaps someone here can resize a .gif for me? Its that 'haters gonna hate' .gif. I want to use it in TS3 for my avatar.
