It's called trolling.
Israel could join the EU, all they have to do is play the German guilt card and they're in.
Fuck Israel

If Australia joins, do we join too on account of being a former british colony, and a former part of NSW?

Instead of adding countries to the EU, the EU should be breaking back up into more sovereign states.
I would love to see Israel join the EU.
It'll be entertaining to watch the EU try to control Israel.

But the strongest reason there was an EU in the first place was basically free trade and commerce.

You don't get more free trade and commerce by regulating it into a federation, it was more of a union to block trade and/or commerce from outside it's respective members ...
And the point of the EU was never to be like the US ...

That's what I said... EU is pretty much like the US after the revolution (A confederacy of states rather than a federation, with a large respect to sovereignty).Varegg wrote:

EU is a free trade block within EU members, just like the US states have free trade amongst themselves. I never argued that it's not an economic bloc.
^^ Well then you left out some words in your previous posts

If Israel wasnts to Join the EU they can, under this circumstance. Most the jews in Israel are EUROPEAN IMMIGRANTS, if they want to be part of the EU these european immigrants should head back home to their native countries and they then can be part of the EU.
Can we resettle them all in Derby?rammunition wrote:
