Aside from the sugar they did an evac on some school because of a powdery substance, turned out to be chalk dust. I wonder how many chalk boards there are compaired to white boards. When I was in highschool there were a couple of bomb scares( one where the canceled classes). bomb scares are a waste of time, but I suppose if there were enough of them we would not freak out about terrorist, we would get board.

EDIT: P.S., I've been to lots of week long teknivals with all the 'awesomeness' requirements. But to be honest, without the girls, drugs, music, art, huge crowds, oversized sound systems and police raids it doesn't sound like much of a party. Although this isn't the place to discuss the pro's/con's of LAN 'parties', the thing is most people don't own decent computers, so you'll get a very limited social group (relatively well off people) attending. Best thing about free parties is meeting people from every walk of life and every place on the planet, including the greatest intellectuals and the scummiest criminals: That what makes it interesting.
