Actually that article seems very incorrect in terms of motives (except for Russian/Baltic prostitution = basically slaves). However, I do understand that racism and low level of integration into the population are reasons why E.g. Thai/Vietnamese immigrants are forced to work in such places. The three main reasons I believe to be causes of this, as well as the reason why Kosovo Albanians, Serbs, Bosnians, Iraqis, Iranis and Algerians mostly work in Kebab-restaurants/Pizzerias.

1. Little to no knowing of the Finnish language among first generation immigrants
2. There's a high level of prejudice among smaller company leadership/ownership. This is a fact, one which I despise greatly.
3. Foreign immigration in form of refugees in Finland is a very new phenomenon (20-25 years or so, dunno?) so not only is the system in constant tweaking mode, it can't IMHO be regarded as a v1.0 yet.

Give it 5-10 years, more of the children of these immigrants have gone through our school system and gained university degrees for free, the fascist shitfucks who lead small businesses today have died of cardiac arrest and even the gen. 1 immigrants have learned the language, it'll change. It's already happening in a very fast pace. 10 years ago, the situation was vastly different.

Be as it may, there will probably always be Thai massage parlors, and 90% will still offer you a happy ending.

That's why I laughed when just two months ago an evening newspaper headline read "Thai massage parlors sell sex". Well no shit? You been living under a rock?

P.S: From what I've seen, the Thai massage parlors are family businesses and private entrepreneurs. The Russian hookers however, that's the Russian Mafia at work. Their business is the problem, they're the ones trafficking and treating their hookers like shit.

Serbs have nothing to do with women trafficking we aren't Muslims get ur facts together, we are Eastern Orthodox, also we fought against the Albanians since they were overtaking our land then u and other European countries as well as America handed it over to them since they paid u good money which came from Women trafficking...

Turku seems to only have kebab shops and massage parlours as far as I know   They do call it the kebab centre of Finland - prolly cos Turku just wants to be capital of something heh
