Do you mean like a throttle in joystick where it "stays on" that position you set it ?
( With kbd you have to "tap" the throttle key, it won't "stay"..)
P.S. There are some IC:s inside J-stick that make the throttle "keep given position"...one of them is a timer IC, NE555 or similar.

basiclly i was thinking 4 settings
full forward
full back
none
1/4=barly flying
and yes i ment you press once and and it keeps the setting untill changed. basiclly like taking for diferent positions a throttle can be in, and making them keys. that old xwing game had this.

I dont think there is a way to do that.
