Yes it does. I received my expert badge as well.  If you are unable to do this then your timing is off.  I almost always explode my C4 before it even hits the ground.  Why wait?? You could get shot!

This is false, it does not take a full 2 seconds to switch to the detonator.

And I am using the default binds.. Come on!  Either you are good at it, or you are not.

yeah i've been victim of the c4 grenades... i had no idea how he switched so fast... when i tried it i fell victim to the classic 'c4, detonator, c4' problem... where i'd switch to the detonator, hit the fire button, and throw another c4 package... agh!
