I think, if anything, the hecklers show us what the opposition is about... obstruction and incoherence.
But it doesn't really matter. Regardless of who you vote for, the system is bought. Special interests run the system. What you or I want doesn't enter the equation. It's what lobbyists want that matters.
If you want a system that better represents the people, for the most part, you have to move to another country.
