I had hoped that the auto companies bellied up along with Cali and declared bankruptcy. That would have put the unions back to square one. The racket they're running is disgusting, and is a plague on the economy.
The funniest part is that the health care bill is going to drive a bunch of states off a cliff financially. I wonder if the unions realize that when those state governments end up in bankruptcy court that they are screwed. At this point, if I were a wealthy person I'd get together with some of my most well off pals and buy up all the land in a small state. It's the only way they're going to be able to hide from crushing taxation burdens everywhere else.
