i give up trying to login to my BF2 account it keeps saying server closed connection i have no clue what to do is anyone else having this problem i reinstalled bf2 and the new patch but i cant login someone help all i want to do is play. I sent a message to ea but im sure their not going to help. its not a firewall problem i turn it off and it still doesnt work

that came up when i tryed to log on keep trying. you can try and trick it:you wait until it has just logged you on then you click on bfhq before it can say:blah blah blah;)

i tried it and it didn't work the mouse courser moves to the center of the screen so i dont have time to click on BFHQ thanks anyway

that happend to me logg into a diff account or make a new one if it does not work piss on your compy and go buy a nice one like i did yea try logging in on a diff acount, or just go to your compy take a stick and poke it untill it doesn't move or make any noise then go out side grab you 12 gauge and go trap shotting with your parts. or you could just take you bf2 cd put it in the microwave at your school set it for 10 min and then run to the bathroom and giggle lol. my friend did that we got a mic that is really hot lol...and he took one of his project cuz he got an f and through it in it exploded and blamed it on this jock kid... lol it was funny.

I have a very good computer actually and if you shut down a firewall it will also terminate ports which when you login the server that which you are trying to connect will not read your password. so everytime i do that i get a message sayin password invalid. yes i do know alot about this but not enough to fix it. You are supposed to open ports which i did, no such luck i still get "Server Closed Connection" if anyone can help me please do so.

I've given up trying to play BF2. At the iCafe I go to the amount of computers that play it used to be eight, now it's three, and they are ALWAYS taken over by WoW-ers who stay there the whole day. I think I need to go there past 10PM or something to be able to have a chance. Fear not though, I'm sure to sratch three identical symbols one day and when I that happens I will most definatly be buying a new computer.

This happened to me one time, logged in again, didn't load. then I quit the application, restarted it, and everything worked fine.

2. Do you get Any error messages ? ( or is it just frozen in Login screen ? )

What firewall are you using?
whilst installing BF2, it opens it owns ports...you shouldnt of have modded them. try this :
take off the ports you opened (save the info first, may be wrong) and just use the ones you didn't mod.
if that doesnt work, then its not the ports causing the probs.
