Since when did experience and so called credibility become a talking point about debating politicians anyway. It's funny that the Palin supporters only have that to go on it seems. That says it all. When they have to resort to saying that she was a Governor or whatever and we weren't. Really now, think about what you're saying. You're basically admitting that there's fuck all else to say except to clutch at straws such as that.

Obama has more experience as president than everyone except for 4 guys

As far as shock and awe goes... this is a well, duh!!! Like no one saw this one coming, why else leave the governor's office unless you have lucrative opportunities. Every looky-loo loves a car wreck. We'll see if she does better than her debates otherwise its going to be a quick crash and burn.

She quit her position of governor of alaska because of legal issue after issue. I do not remember the clintons quitting their positions from the whitewater scandal or any of bill's illicit affairs. In my book, she is a quitter. A quitter is not fit to lead or belong in the presidency.
It'll get them a fuckload of viewers from all over - sure, their reasons will be poles apart but viewers are viewers and numbers don't care for political persuasion.

Brilliant! Well love her or hate her, it may signal her intent, or lack thereof on a possible WH run in 2012.SEREMAKER wrote:

Sarah Palin Slams President Obama, Critics in Fox News Debut
lol
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/sarah-palin-m … id=9548272Fresh from her book tour, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is trying out a new role as a Fox News pundit.
The former vice presidential candidate is a paid contributor on the news network
The newest employee of Fox News channel made her debut Tuesday night on the network's flagship show, "The O'Reilly Factor."
"I'm grinning today, and I'm so appreciative of the opportunity to get to work with you and the team members here at Fox News to provide the fair and the balanced reporting and analysis voters in this country deserve," Palin told host Bill O'Reilly.
Experts say Palin's new role could be a hit or miss for her, depending on how she crafts it.
"I think she's got to lose just being a victim," said Tina Brown, founder and editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast.
"On the face of it, it seems like a great role," Brown said on "Good Morning America." "But at the same time, she might also discover... it's harder than it looks to be a good pundit on the air. You've got to have stuff to say."
Larry Hackett, an editor at People Magazine, said Palin would likely attract a large audience in the beginning, but it's what she does over time that will determine whether she can keep that fan base.

That article didn't even delve into what she said, all it did was rehash days old news, pretty crappy if you ask me

The very same thing can be said of those who vote Democrat. Democrats like to think they're the party of new ideas and freedom but the truth is anything but. They have their ideology, the same as Republican voters do, and are as intractable and unlikely to change. They have their required reading lists the same as Republican voters. Don't think for a second that people who call themselves liberal are more creative or open to new ideas. They may convince themselves that it's so, but it's not.Dilbert_X wrote:

Yeah? Progressivism is generally the worship of a set of books written 150 years ago so how is it progressive when they are just repeating and rephrasing the work of a man who lived so long ago? There's no new ideas there, just failed ones repackaged with new words and a shiny new wrapper.AussieReaper wrote:

Really? No new ideas to do with same-sex marriage, universal health care, abolition of the death penalty, renewable energy?JohnG@lt wrote:

Conservative minded people generally hark back to the "Golden" era of the late 50's early 60's and are opposed to any of the above changing. So don't tell me that progressives are just as un-progressive as conservatives on these issues. lol

Same-sex marriage: The country may be divided as a whole, but some states are more in favor for it. Why not let states decide the issue?AussieReaper wrote:

Death Penalty: What's wrong with the death penalty?
Renewable energy: Let the free markets find the best alternative energy. Green Tech has a lot to offer, but it's not so certain as to what will be the best answer. The republicans tried the liberals attempt and picking a 'winner' in the market, and it didn't work out too good, which was corn ethonal. Every time I read something about it, it seems to have been a complete failure.
What is wrong with those ideas, and why do we need new ones?
