Hey guys I'm looking to get into this smart phone malarkey but I haven't been keeping up to date with this stuff. The newest one on the market seems to be the HTC HD2, does anyone know if it's any good and how it stacks up to the iphone etc?

I've heard some bad things about windows mobile but is it really that much worse than the apple OS?

My mate has a HD2, he likes it a lot but its a bit big for my liking. The interface isn't too bad as you hardly use windows mobile and the snapdragon processor is quite responsive when loading apps.

What's the battery life like?

1GHz processor and support for multi tasking makes me concerned for battery prospects.
