Hi!
I've just been doing some research on an empty server and I'm proud to present you the
M95 ANTI-MATERIAL DAMAGE CHART
Tanks/APCs : no effect (duh...)
Waste of ammo...
Vodnik/Humvee :
Glass : 2
Body : 0.5* - 1
Tires : no effect
If it is already smoking give it some on the way,but only if you can hit the glass.
*The 0.5 bar is a random thing, you can shoot the same spot twice, one time it's 0.5,another time 1 bar.
But the hits on the glass are constantly 2 bars.
DPV/FAV :
Body : 2.5
Tires : 1
Now this is a target which really takes damage from the M95,8 hits bring it to explode and usually a DPV already has some damage from little bumps so it's a target worth shooting at.
Transport Chopper :
Cockpit(Glass!) : 2
Body : 1
The transport chopper is also a nice target, there's always the chance of killing the pilot or a passenger but since it has no a big threat value and there can always be an engineer or medic present it is only recommended to concentrate your fire when they are already smoking.
Attack Chopper :
Cockpit : 2.5
Body : 0.5-1
Now that's our main target,the attack-chopper!!
Hated by lots of players because it cuts through infantry like butter and has one of the most powerful weapons in the whole game, the TV-missile.
That's why it is your primary target besides infantry.
A shot to the cockpit glass takes away 2.5 bars of energy,so 4 hits take away half the energy, even if you only hit the body 4 times it's 4 bars gone, each little amount can be decisive.
The great, great bonus you can get is the headshot of course,if you take out a pilot hovering over the helipad you can get tons of roadkills caused by the explosion of the crashing heli.I did this a few days ago on Smoke Screen - 1 shot,5 kills!!
In short: If you see a attack-chopper and you happen to be holding a M95 in your hands - shoot the heli!!!
RIB : Hull : 1 / Engine section : 2.5
The RIB takes some nice damage to the engine section, this includes the steeringwheel-box.
Basically it's not quite worth it and there are not too many around, try Iron Gator or Wake for some practice on them if you really want to,once in a while I manage to headshot the driver.
Essex Gun : Body : 1
Hmm,this is only of some kind of value if a jet didn't finish of the guns completely and you can plink away at the smoking rest of it,otherwise no,20 bullets for one kill are too much.
Stinger/IGLA/TOW : no effect (!)
This really surprised me,no effect on the ground-defence,not a single bar.
MiG-29 :
Cockpit : 3 (!)
Body : 2
F-35B :
Cockpit : 2
Body : 2
SU-34 :
Cockpit : 2
Body : 2
J-10 :
Cockpit : 3 (!)
Body : 2
I haven't tested all the jets yet but from what I already have I'd say it's really worth a shot when you can take away 3 bars from a J-10 or a MiG-29,but a cockpit hit on a moving jet is quite unusual.
And I wouldn't recommend that on parked jets, they automatically repair themselves on the runway so there's really no big use in shooting them unless you kill the pilot.
SF Vehicles
Apache Longbow
Cockpit : 2
Body : 0.5-1
HIND
Cockpit : 1-1.5 (!)
Body : 0.5 (!)
Now the SF chopper are a bit different, the Apache only takes 2 bars damage in the cockpit and despite all rumors that the glass isn't actually bulletproof - it is,I emptied a whole clip of SVD ammo on nearly point blank in the pilot's face,no damage! But the M95 gets the job done as usual.
Now the HIND is the toughest chopper there is - 1-1.5 bars on the cockpit and only 0.5 bars on the body.It sure is a flying beast which handles like a chinese transport chopper but it sure has armour protection.
AIL Raider
Body : no effect (!)
Tires : 1-1.2 (this includes the spare tire on the back!)
Glass : 2
Pickup Truck
Body : 2
Glass : There's no glass, bullets fly straight through..
Forklift
Body : 4 (!)
Tires : 2
Now that's a target!Quite slow and takes a lot of damage from the M95,4 bars if hit anywhere on the frame,2 bars if hit in the tires. Not many maps around with this thing,so be sure to kill it if you see it.
ATV
Body : 3.9-4 (!)
Tires : 2
Jet Ski
Body : 4.5 (!!)
The two fastest vehicles of the game besides the jet take the most damage from a M95 and they are usually already damaged,4 hits on a jet ski are a sure roadkill.
On the other hand they are quite difficult to hit,if the opportunity is given though I'd take it.
UPDATE: Armored Fury Vehicles
Recon Choppers:
Cockpit: 2.5-3 (seems a bit buggy,sometimes it's only 2.5 bars,but mostly it's 3)
Body: 1-1.2 (usually 1,sometimes a bit more)
Semi Truck
Glass: 2
Body: 1
A-10/Fantan/Frogfoot
Cockpit + Body: 2 (2 bars whereever you hit it)
Muscle Car
Glass: 2.5-3 (just like the choppers,it's mostly 3)
Body + Tires: 1
Air intake on the hood: 2 (I tried this over 10 times to be sure,if you hit the black part of the air intake it's 2 bars!)
M24/L96A1 need double amount of bullets to have same effect on the body but they have none to only very limited effect on the glass(4 shots = 0.5 bars on Humvee + chopper!) on all vehicles!
And as for other small arms: A Z-10 can take 20 shots from a PKM on every part of the hull and loses only 1 bar,20 shots from a PKM take away 7 bars from a FAV!!
The M95 is always the weapon of choice!
An interesting point:If you are the last one to shoot at a target,no matter that it is already on fire, you get the kill!
As an example how this works:I shot a FAV which already had flames coming out of it,the explosion brought me a [FAV]-roadkill because there was standing someone close by.If I hadn't placed the last shot on the FAV it would just have exploded by itself.Keep an eye out for those situations where a single .50cal can really surprise somebody.
If you see a really bad smoking chopper fire away,if it has 4 energy bars left and you hit it 2 times there's a good chance of getting 1-6 roadkills(full blackhawk, best case scenario),as soon as the energy goes below 3 bars the chopper only has a few seconds to get to some sort of repair, this is how most of my chopperkills happen!
Another important point is to team up with a buddy,a sniper never goes alone, this old saying is worth gold when you are out to hunt down some attack-chopper.
You have a doubled rate of fire and doubled chances of getting a headshot, which in this case is also just a mere bonus. The double rate of fire is the decisive element,4 hits to the cockpit take away half the energy,2 snipers can take the chopper down completely in that time,3 snipers on a distance will make every chopperwhore run!Team up!
Hope this helps and convices some people to open fire on vehicles with an M95 like I do.
I don't know if this is sticky-worthy,maybe when I got data for every different jet,but I think its quite good to know what kind of punch the M95 really packs when it comes to vehicles.
So,study the chart a bit and have fun blowing up vehicles with the M95!

I was playing on an AF server today, and saw a guy run behind a supply crate. I knew he had already been shot at by a Linebacker, so I was sure I could take him out with one shot. I took a potshot through the supply crate, and suprisingly, got the freaking kill! The guy was probably saying, "WTF?!!" I was laughing so hard that I figured I should share this with my fellow BF2S members. So there it is. The "through-the-supply-crate, not-only-bulletproof-glass-kill."
